It’s Oprah’s choice

There’s been a lot of chatter going on in the last forty eight hours or so about whether or not Oprah Winfery should interview Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
Much of the discussion was generated after the Drudge report flashed a story noting a high demand for Palin to be on the show and possible conflicting internal […]

Rasmussen: Palin more popular than McCain or Obama.

Based on conversations with people over the past few days I knew people loved Palin, but more than Obama? Wow.
According to Rasmussen Reports Sarah Palin’s favorability rate is at 58%. Perhaps more importantly, though, her very favorable ratings are sky high at 40%. Incredible. (her unfavorables are 37% with 18% very unfavorable)
Rasmussen notes that Palin […]

Acceptance speech by John McCain during the 2008 RNC Convention

I wont get into a lot of the analysis until tomorrow.
No, it wasnt Palin’s speech, but McCain isnt Palin. McCain had a seriousness about him which translates into credibility of the job.
In any case, here is McCain’s acceptance speech. Video will be available when its posted on YouTube.

Larry Kudlow: There’s Something Missing in St. Paul

Larry Kudlow nails it, again.
As much as I love Palin’s speech Kudlow correctly points out that it failed to connect our current economic slump to rising energy costs which are as a direct result of failed Democrat policy. In fact, Democrats want higher energy prices and seek to tax our companies through cap and trade […]

Biden: Obama might persue criminal charges against Bush

So this is what the new wave of politics looks like, eh?
Apparently this is the second time that Obama or someone within his campaign has mentioned persuing criminal charges against Bush and members of his administration if he were to get into office.
So much for trying to unify the country, eh? Sounds more like “payback’s […]

Sarah Palin’s speech - WOW. (updated)

I cannot say enough about it. Im stunned and enthralled all at the same time.

I knew back in late late July that she would be a hit and bloged on it - endorsing her as my pick as the Vice Presidential candidate.

I hope people can see why now.

Im in a bit of a hurry at the moment, so instead of creating seperate blog entries for each one of these stories, I thought it would be appropriate to to comment on them here.
Financial Times: US says troops could quit Baghdad soon. This is an intriguing article which I cannot find on any of […]

McCain campaign releases comparison video betwen Palin and Obama

Says a lot when the Republican Vice Presidential candidate has more experience than the Democrat nominee for President, doesnt it? Joe Lieberman was on absolutely correct when he said that Obama does not reach across the isle to get things done.

Newt Gingrinch schools MSNBC lackie

I love the smell of burn reporters like this guy. Fellow Republicans and conservatives please take note of Newt’s points regarding Palin’s experience (our number two) versus Senator Barack Obama (their number one).

Its been scandalous how the media is treating Palin over the past few days. I hope that starts to change tomorrow and we hear something dignified and classy - but to the point from Palin tomorrow.

Then again, I would like to also hear people repeat the Newt line from above because its true and puts things in perspective regarding how much experience and what kind of judgement Senator Obama truly has.

Fred Thompson at the RNC 2008 convention.

Just in case you missed Fred’s speech which was delayed and cut up by the three major networks, here is the speech in its entirety. Its an awesome read and was even better in person - which was probably why it was cut.

I should also point out that Democrats were not treated in this manner during their convention.

Instead of Fred thompson’s speech, all three networks decided to run anti-Palin hit pieces. I can only hope when Sarah speaks tomorrow, she will rise against the lies and filth being ran not just by the Obama campaign, but their willing accomplices in the media.
